On Saturday 2nd July we staged our big dance show at Stourbridge Town Hall! Across two shows, 140 children danced their hearts out, from pre-schoolers to our more seasoned Junior dancers. Our pupils performed dance routines in the disciplines of Ballet, Tap, Contemporary Modern and Acro. The shows were a visual and auditory feast!
After months of hard work and preparation from the children and staff, we had the most spectacular day performing to a packed auditorium of family and friends. The confidence of the children when they took to the stage was incredible, and from feedback, we hear that they had a fantastic time both on stage and backstage!
We are so proud of each and every dancer, you are a credit to yourselves, your family and to Chloe May’s Dance Academy. We also want to thank our dance families, our backstage chaperones and our audiences on the day for their continued support of the Academy.
It’s amazing to see just how much our dancers are improving in every way. As we always say, learning to dance is a marathon, not a sprint, and with more time, practice and dedication to the craft, we can’t wait to see what our dancers are capable of in the future. We will continue to support them and develop their dance abilities at every step of their journey.
There will be plenty of opportunities in the near future for our dancers to get involved with from events to dance exams.
A massive thank you and congratulations to all for an awe-inspiring show day!
