On Sunday 30th January 2022, we held an IDTA Awards Presentation evening in the Baxter College theatre for families to celebrate the recent achievements of our dancers who took IDTA Ballet and Modern exams in November. We are pleased to announce that we saw another 100% pass rate!
Official dance examinations are a wonderful way for children to record their progress in dance, see a continuous improvement in their abilities, feel a deep sense of pride in their achievements and grow as individuals. At the highest and most advanced levels, official dance examinations count towards UCAS points and university entry! One day, we hope to see a dancer who started with us at the tender age of 2, taking dance exams with us at the age of 16!
It is wonderful to see the continuous improvements in our pupils’ dance technique, musicality and performance. They truly are blossoming and should be super proud of how far they’ve come. Next they’ll be working towards further exams, our big dance show at Stourbridge Town Hall in the summer and further performance opportunities.
Thank you to everyone who was able to attend the Awards Ceremony, we hope you enjoyed watching the children perform some of their recent exam work. As always, we really appreciate your continued support.
